Serves 2

Packed full of carbohydrate, protein and taste. A popular choice for recovery from a strenuous session.

Real Banana Smoothie

Ingredients

2 ripe bananas
250g (2 x 125g pots) low fat yoghurt e.g. raspberry, vanilla
2 tablespoons skimmed milk powder e.g. Marvel or supermarket’s own brand
400ml milk (skimmed or semi)
pinch of ground mixed spice, cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)

Real Banana Smoothie

Method

Place bananas, yoghurt, milk, milk powder and mixed spice into a food processor and blend until smooth

Or

Blend using a hand-held blender until smooth.

Pour into glasses and serve chilled.
